Introduction to Ordering a Custom Bay Track

Let me show you how simple it is to get a price and place an order for a custom-made slimline bay track here at EzeCurtains. The process starts by choosing your track options. After placing your order, you’ll be taken to the order confirmation page.

Providing Size Information for Your Bay Window Curtain Tracks

On the confirmation page, you’ll see a button that takes you to the final sizes form. This is where, using a simple template, you’ll give us all the measurements we need to make your new bay track. Don’t worry — if you get stuck, we’re always happy to help.

Gathering Necessary Measurements and Photos

To complete the form, you’ll need two things: a photo of your bay window, and a rough overall width for your track — following around the bay, including any returns if needed. The measurement doesn’t need to be exact — within a few centimetres is fine.

Select the closest match for your overall bay size, then click the “Next” button.

Choosing the Installation Method for Your Bay Track

Now choose how your bay track will be fitted. There are five options. For this example, I’m choosing Option 2: ceiling fix with wall fix returns — a popular setup. If we think something doesn’t look right, we’ll get in touch before we start. Once you’ve made your choice, press “Next”.

Selecting Your Bay Shape and Style

This step is where you select your bay shape. Open the dropdown menu and choose the one that matches your window. An image will appear to show you the selected shape. If it doesn’t look quite right, just pick another option.

Finding Additional Bay Window Styles

If you’re still unsure, click the “Bay Window Styles” link. This page shows a wide range of bay shapes along with their names. Still stuck? You can click a link to send us a photo of your bay. If it’s not listed, we’ll create a new template for it and let you know when it’s ready to use.

Now press the “Next” button.

Understanding Track Assembly and Options

Your bay track will arrive in two halves and be joined with a connecting splice, as shown here. You also have the option to add an overlap arm. If you choose this, we’ll ask which direction you’d like the arm to point. Once done, press “Next”.

Optional Features for Your Slimline Bay window curtain Tracks

Now you’ll see a few optional extras. First up — track brakes. I’ve selected “Yes” for this example.

Then there are curtain draw rods. I’ve chosen a pair, each 75cm long. Both of these extras include a short video to show how they work and help you decide if you’d like them.

Choosing Curtain Hooks and Accessories

Next are your curtain hook options: nylon, zinc metal, and zinc pin hooks. These come in packs of 50. I’ve selected nylon hooks and added two packs, which is typically enough for bay windows. Press “Next” to continue.

Uploading Your Bay Window Photo

Now it’s time to upload a photo of your bay. Stand well back to capture the whole window, including a bit of wall on each side and the windowsill if possible. If you’re using a smartphone, press the upload button and your camera will open automatically. Once the photo is taken, it’ll be added to the form. Then press “Next”.

Finalising Your Order Details

This is the final page. You’ll see a summary of all your selections on the right-hand side, with your total price at the bottom. Enter your email and confirm it. This will unlock the rest of the form so you can add your name, address, and phone number. Then pop in your card details and billing postcode.

Completing Your Order and Confirmation

Press the “Place Your Order” button to finish. You’ll be taken to the order confirmation page, where there’s another link to the final sizes form. You’ll also receive this link in your email confirmation, so you can return to it at any time.
