Wave Curtain Tracks
If you’re new to wave curtain tracks, here’s a quick explanation of how they work and why they look so good.
Wave tracks use specially designed gliders that are joined together with a slim, discreet cord. This spaces the gliders evenly, so the curtains form smooth, uniform waves when they are opened and closed.
Unlike traditional headings where the curtain hangs in front of the track, wave curtains are suspended underneath it. This allows the waves to glide freely without becoming caught against walls or brackets. It also means the track needs to sit far enough away from the window for the waves to form properly.
Whether you want a light and airy appearance with sheers or a bolder look with lined fabrics, wave heading gives straight windows and patio doors a beautifully tailored finish.

Made to Measure curtain tracks – FAQ’s
We’ve made it easy — just measure the full width of your window, plus an extra 15–30 cm each side to allow the curtains to hang off the window when open. Use this as your total track width. Then decide whether you’ll be fitting your track to the ceiling or to the wall above the window.
We deliver across the whole of the UK, from Cornwall to the Highlands (excluding the Islands). Most orders arrive within 5–7 working days from placing your order.
Our tracks are designed to be DIY-friendly and we include clear fitting videos with every order. If you’d rather not tackle it yourself, a local handyman can usually fit them in under an hour.
Corded tracks use a pull cord (like a blind), so you can open and close the curtains without touching the fabric — ideal for tall or wide windows. Hand-drawn tracks are just as smooth, but you simply pull the curtains across by hand.
In most cases, yes! If your curtains use standard heading tape with hooks (pencil pleat or double/triple pleat), they’ll work perfectly with our tracks. Eyelet, tab top, or slot top curtains won’t be compatible — those need a pole instead.
Most tracks are made and dispatched within 5–7 working days. You’ll get a confirmation email when it’s dispatched, with tracking details so you can follow it right to your door.
