Curtain Track Measuring or Fitting

Do You Offer Measuring or Fitting?

If you’re searching for curtain track measuring or fitting services and you’re wondering whether I can come out to measure or fit your curtain track, you’re definitely not alone — it’s one of the most common questions I get.

I specialise in supplying made-to-measure curtain tracks, so I don’t offer a measuring or fitting service.

That said, most customers find the whole process much simpler than they expected.

The Good News — It’s Usually Very Straightforward

Every track is made to your exact measurements, and I provide clear step-by-step guidance along with fitting videos to walk you through it.

In most cases, fitting a curtain track takes around 30 to 60 minutes.

Once you’ve got the right track, the rest is usually the easy part.

Curtain Track Measuring and Fitting – What Are Your Options?

Fit it yourself

If you’re comfortable using basic tools, fitting the track is very straightforward.

A lot of customers tell me they were unsure at first, but found it much easier than expected once they got started.

Use a local handyman

If you’d prefer not to fit it yourself, a local handyman can usually install the track for you.

Most handymen will be familiar with this type of job, and it’s typically a quick and simple installation.

I always recommend showing them the fitting video before they start, so they understand exactly how the track works.

Finding Someone Local

I’m often asked if I can recommend someone locally, but as I supply customers all over the UK, I’m not able to personally recommend specific fitters in your area.

The safest approach is to use a well-known platform or local search to find someone nearby.

When choosing someone, it helps to:

  • Look for recent reviews, not just high ratings
  • Check they have experience with curtain tracks or similar fittings
  • Show them the fitting video before they arrive

This usually gives you the best chance of a smooth installation.

Why I Don’t Offer Fitting

Because I supply customers nationwide, arranging measuring or fitting locally isn’t something I’m able to offer.

In most cases, using someone local is actually quicker, more flexible, and more cost-effective than trying to organise a single supplier to do everything.

Not Sure What You Need?
