Hi and welcome. I'm Lee Stevens from ezecurtains.co.uk, but you probably know that after whatching one or two of the other videos that we've got on this website already.
My ugly mug is everywhere. Right.
We're specialist makers of bay window curtain tracks, and we can do them to fit pretty much any shape. And I just want to show you what it is that we get up to here after you've placed your order. So let's go and have a quick look.
Here we have the workbench that we draw out all the sizes and details that you sent to us to create your bay template we can then present the tracks onto the table and bend them to fit perfectly following the template. So that makes it so simple to get everything spot on.
Here, we're bending our slimline hand draw curtain track to the angle needed for our latest bay track order.
Here, we're putting fillers into our regular bay track, and the fillers go into the glider channel and they go into the bracket channel to stop and collapsing when we bend the track. In the bending machine.
Here, we're on the bench now the assembly bench, and this is where all the gliders, end caps, end stops, and brackets are fitted. And also you can see on the bench, we've got some extras, curtain draw rods, and screws, plugs, hooks that have been ordered with this order.
Then the tracks get wrapped in brown protective paper and then they get put into the box ready for dispatch.
So now you've discovered what we're all about to easy curtains. The only thing left to do now is to get your ordering so get tracking, tape measure, and measure up your bay and you'll get a perfect fitting bay window curtain track and your curtains will open and close like they've never done before. So thanks for watching and, I look forward to helping you.
After you have sent us your sizes (we guide you) we then draw out your bay shape on the table. This allows us to make sure it looks like the photo of your bay window. You did send us a photo didn't you😉, a shot of the whole window is best.
If we have any queries we will spot it at this early stage. Then get in touch before we move on to the bending stage.
Here we have another photo showing how we can draw out even the largest bay windows.
So no bay is too big and no bay has too many bends 😊
Having your bay window curtain track pre bent to your bay shape will transform the fitting. From being a bit of nightmare. To such a simple process that almost anyone can do. Simply follow the step by step video guides.

Watch the short video above to see us in action bending the pefect fitting bay
Well a 10cm radius gives a nice compact curve to your track. However, just as important the 10cm radius allows the curtains to glide smoothly around the bends. Any tighter and no matter how smooth running the track is. The curtains start to bunch up when trying to travel around the curve. so making opening and closing more difficult.
If you were to choose our silver bay window track. Then the bend radius on the internal bay bends would be 20cm. This is the minimum curve that can be used and still have the curtain track gliders move freely. However, on the reverse bends out of the bay on each side. These can be bent to a 10cm radius as all outr other bay tracks.
I have been in the curtain business for 30 years. I have sold, made and fitted curtains on every kind of window you can think of.
Over those years I have fitted curtains in many 1,000's of bay windows. I have fitted every kind of store bought DIY kind of curtain tracks. The kind you have to bend on site. The kind you have to cut down to size. The kind you have to assemble all the components.
As much as I got really good at it, and got quick at doing it. I realised there must be a better way!
That's when Ezecurtains was born and the rest is history😂
When sending photos of your bay windows with your order. We need to see at least one that shows the whole of the bay. Take a look at the video here to see what makes a good "Bay Window" photo. Also, what doesn't. Knowing this means we can help you get your new bay window curtain track so much quicker.
Our Straight white metal curtain tracks can be made upto 4 metres in one piece. When it comes to bay window curtain tracks we can make them upto 6 metres wide.
We then check the bent track against the template we drew on the table earlier. This makes sure the track fits spot on when it arrives with you.
If you have ever bought a straight curtain track to fit a bay window. Then you will know how difficult it is to do. Despite the verbal or written assurance of "how easy it is". Getting the bends in the right place and at the right angles. Even with lots of experience it's still a challenge to get it looking right. Constantly up and down the step ladders. Trying to tweek the track. or maybe trim a little off the ends. But at the same time worrying you have cut too much off.
The biggest challenge even for professional curtain fitters. Is getting the reverse bends out the bay right.
If you have tried doing this job with a plastic track. Then it goes double as the track is trying to fight with you. You try to bend it where you want it to be. As soon as you take one hand off it. Then track springs back to straight. Very annoying😒.
Then finally after making your track is the packing. We wrap your bay track in "Hive" paper also know as "Honeycomb" paper. This protects it from scratches and bumps in transit.
We then put your wrapped tracks into a sturdy double layed corrogated box. This gives your delivery a huge amount of protection. We almost never get damages which means no headaches upon delivery.
We use Parcelforce for most larger deliveries. They have given us a consistently good delivery service. On dispatch we email you to lt you know. Also, to let you know the expected delivery day. Also, to give you a tracking link.
I hope this has helped you discover more about us at Ezecurtains.
