Hi. Welcome to Ezeurtains. And I want to chat with you about our slimline curtain tracks. Bay windows, straight, we can bend them to fit pretty much any bay window shape.

Benefits of Slimline Tracks

And there are two reasons why you choose the slimline track. One is you just like the look of the slimmer profile. And two, sometimes there are practical reasons such as inward opening windows or you may have shutters on your windows, and the shutter doors need to open underneath the track. It's a really smooth working track and will hold pretty much any size domestic weight curtains, wide, long, blackout, doesn't really matter. So let's have a look at how well they move across this track.

So there you go, really smooth working curtains. So any size like I said before, and they will glide like a dream.

Overview of Track and Bracket Options

Let's have a look at the track itself and the bracket options that go with this track. So we've got the, track here and it's a real sturdy track and you can barely put any twist on it. And once this is fitted to the brackets, wall or ceiling fix, it there's almost no flex in it at all.

Detailed Bracket Specifications

Now the brackets, we've got three wall brackets here. We got the four and a half centimeter, seven and a half centimeter, and the ten centimeter brackets so you can project further off the wall should you need to. And then finally, we've got the TopFix bracket here that's a really neat slim bracket and this has a little cover that covers it so that once it's fitted you don't see the screw fixings.

Introduction to Ordering a Custom Bay track

Let me show you how simple it is to get a price and place an order for a custom made slimline Bay track at EZ Curtains. The first part is choosing your track options. Then after placing your order, you will be directed to the order confirmation page.

Providing Size Information for Your Bay Track

On this page is a button taking you to the final sizes page. This is where following a template, you will give us all the sizes we need to make your new bay track correctly. Don't worry about this as we're happy to help if needed.

Gathering Necessary Measurements and Photos

You need two things to complete this form, a photo of your bay and an overall width of your track following around the bay, including returns out of the bay if needed. The size doesn't need to be exact at this stage. Within a few centimeters is fine. The first option to do is select is the overall bay size, then press the next button.

Choosing the Installation Method for Your Bay Track

Now choose how your bay track is going to fix in your bay. You have five options. I'm choosing option two. Ceiling with wall fix returns out of the bay. This is popular fitting option. If we think you have selected the wrong option, we will query it with you before starting. Now press the next button.

Selecting Your Bay Shape and Style

Next is the bending service, which is choosing your bay shape. Open the drop down menu and select your bay shape. This will open up an image of the chosen bay shape. If this doesn't look right, then select another option from the menu.

Finding Additional Bay Window Styles

If still unsure, then click on the bay window styles link. This page has lots bay images along with their names. If you still are unsure, then click on the link here to send us a photo of your bay. If it's not on the menu, we will create and add it, then let you know it's ready to be used.

Now press the next button.

Understanding Track Assembly and Options

Your Bay track will come in two halves and be joined with a connecting splice as seen here. You have the option to add an overlap arm to your track. If you choose this option, you will be asked which way you want the arm to point. Now press the next button.

Optional Features for Your Bay Track

You now have some optional extra to choose from. First, you can add breaks to your track. I have selected yes.

Then you have curtain draw rods. I have selected a pair at seventy five centimeters long. Both of these options have a link to a video showing what these are and how they work.

Choosing Curtain Hooks and Accessories

Lastly, we have curtain hooks. Nylon, zinc metal, and zinc pin hooks. These come in packs of fifty. I have selected nylon hooks, then selected two packs. Two packs is typically needed for bay windows. Now press the next button.

Uploading Your Bay Window Photo

Next is uploading a photo of your bay window. Stand well back and get the whole window, including some of the walls on each side of the bay. Also, make sure you get the windowsill in shot. If you're using a smartphone, then you can press the upload button to open your camera. Your photo will be automatically added to the form. Now press the next button.

Finalizing Your Order Details

This is the final page, and you will see a list on the right with all your selections, then a total amount to pay at the bottom. Enter your email, and then confirm email. This will open the form to add your name, address, and phone number. Then enter your card details, including the postcode where the card is registered.

Completing Your Order and Confirmation

Then press the press here to place your order button. You then be redirected to the order confirmation page. On this page is a button taking you to the final sizes form. You will also get a link to this form in your email order confirmation.
