🏠 Regular Double Bay Window Curtain Tracks
Let your sheer and main curtains work independently – no tangles, no tugging, just smooth running every time.
If you’re looking for a neat, practical way to hang two layers of curtains in your bay window – like sheers for privacy and a heavier set to block out the light – our regular double bay window curtain tracks are spot on. 👍
They’re custom made to follow the exact shape of your bay, and fitted with two separate tracks: one for your sheer curtains at the back, and one for your main curtains at the front. That means no dragging, no snags, and a really polished finish.
We’ve supplied thousands of these over the years – they’re easy to install, come with full support, and last for years.

🧰 How Do Our Regular Double Bay Window Curtain Tracks Work?
Each track is bent to match your bay window exactly. We fit a rear track for your lightweight sheers, and a front track for your main curtains.
You’ll have a 10cm gap between the two, which gives enough space for your curtains to glide without rubbing or pulling each other.
And best of all? They’re fitted discreetly to the ceiling within the bay, so everything looks neat and runs smoothly.

Introduction to Double Bay Tracks
Hi, I’m Lee Stevens from ezecurtains.co.uk, and I’d like to give you a quick introduction to our regular double bay tracks. You’ll see some images popping up on screen showing the tracks fitted to the ceiling within the bay, with the main curtain tracks turning out onto the returns, which are wall-fixed. There’s a ten-centimetre gap between the two tracks — this allows you to open and close your main curtains without dragging the sheer curtains with them.
Sheer Curtains and Track Options
Here we’ve got the sheer curtains fitted on the rear track, which has a joining splice in the middle. That means it’s one long, continuous piece of track — no need for an overlap option here. On the front track for the main curtains, we’ve included the overlap option in this example. But if you prefer, you can also have a joining splice on the front too, for one continuous track there as well.
Functionality of Rear Sheer Curtains
On the rear track, the sheers only pull back a short way — they don’t go behind the main curtains or wrap around the corners. They’re really just there to sit neatly over the window. The only time you’ll be drawing them open is if you need access to the windows for cleaning or maintenance.
Ninety-nine percent of the time, they’ll stay closed across the window like you can see here.
Movement of Main Curtains
With the main curtains, you can draw them right across the window. In this example, we’ve used the overlap option, so one curtain overlaps the other slightly in the middle. It gives a really neat finish and helps them hang beautifully.
Benefits of Track Design
And as you can see, when the main curtains are moved, they glide smoothly without disturbing the sheers behind. That ten-centimetre gap between the tracks is what makes that possible — the sheers stay exactly where you left them.
