Why this track
The Recessed Look — No Renovation Required
Modern interiors where you want a clean, minimal finish.
A slim 12 mm curved face that visually “disappears
The modern profile has a gently curved, rounded face that reads slimmer to the eye than a flat profile. At only 12 mm deep, it’s perfect when you want the track to be almost invisible, especially on white ceilings and bright rooms.
Skip the building work (and the bill)
True recessed tracks mean cutting a channel during ceiling construction, careful plastering, and lots of time. This track gives you the same streamlined vibe without demolition: ceiling-fix the modern profile and you’re done — no dust, no delay, no extra trades.

🎥 See How Wave Curtains Work!
This video shows wave curtains hanging from our slimline wave track. However, all our wave tracks work the same.
Introduction to Wave Curtains
Hi, welcome to Easy Curtains. Wave curtains are all about the gliders on the track that create the signature wave form. You can see in the image here that there’s a small cord between the gliders. As you pull one glider along, it pulls the next one behind it, keeping them all evenly spaced across the track.
How the Wave Effect is Created
When you draw the curtains across, the evenly spaced gliders create that lovely undulating wave effect from top to bottom. This effect is entirely down to the gliders, not the curtains themselves — although we have used wave tape on these curtains, it’s not the tape that creates the wave. The magic is in the track gliders.
Spacing the Curtain Hooks
The spacing of the hooks on your curtains is also key. Your wave gliders should be set in from both the leading edges and the outside edges of your curtains by about six to seven pockets. The remaining hooks should then be spaced evenly across the rest of the curtain.
Achieving an Even, Pleasing Look
This even spacing ensures that the waves run consistently across the curtains when opened or closed, giving you that neat, balanced, and very pleasing appearance.
Smooth glide, wave-perfect
Made for Wave Curtains — Smooth, Even Folds
Reliable movement from end to end
Precision gliders keep spacing consistent for that signature wave drape. Choose the setup that suits your fabric:
- Standard wave gliders for everyday curtains
- Roller gliders for weightier fabrics
60 mm or 80 mm spacing
Pick 60 mm for a tighter, more defined wave or 80 mm for a softer, broader look — both look superb on this curved, low-profile track.
Made to measure, ready to fit
No Bending. No Cutting. No Hassle.
We shape your modern wave bay window curtain track to your exact bay. It arrives fully assembled with brackets, gliders, and end-stops — ready to fit straight out of the box. If you need a hand, our fitting videos and friendly advice make it simple.
Fitting & brackets
Ceiling-Fit for the Cleanest Finish (Wall Returns Optional)
Same proven brackets, super-neat result
This modern profile uses the same bracket system as your slimline wave track — strong, tidy, and easy to position. Most customers ceiling-fit in the bay for that discreet look, then wall-fix the returns out of the bay so curtains stack perfectly by the walls.
A smarter alternative to recessed tracks
Save Time, Save Mess, Save Money
- No structural work — avoid cutting ceiling channels
- Faster turnaround — we make it, you fit it
- Cleaner install — minimal dust, minimal disruption
- Great value — you get the look, without the build-cost

💬 Frequently asked questions
Yes — the modern wave bay window curtain track from Ezecurtains is designed for straightforward DIY fitting. I’ve put together clear instructions and step-by-step video guides so you can follow along with me (Lee) and get it fitted confidently.
No cutting or messy work needed. This is a surface-mounted system, giving you the sleek “recessed” look without having to channel into the ceiling. At Ezecurtains we designed it this way to save you hassle while still getting that modern finish.
Yes. The gently curved, rounded face is only 12 mm deep, so once ceiling-fitted it sits neat and discreet — just like a recessed track. It’s one of the things customers love about our modern wave track at Ezecurtains.
No. Every track is custom-shaped here at Ezecurtains to your exact bay measurements. It arrives ready to fit straight out of the box — no bending, cutting, or guesswork needed.
Go for 80 mm spacing if you’d like a softer, flowing wave, or 60 mm spacing for a sharper, more compact look. Both work beautifully with the modern curved profile — I (Lee) often say it’s just down to your fabric choice and personal taste.
Our modern wave bay track handles lined and blackout fabrics very well, so for most domestic curtains you’ll have no problem. If you’re planning to hang something extra heavy (like velvet, chenille or damask, especially with interlining), I’d recommend choosing the slimline wave bay window curtain track from Ezecurtains, as it’s built to take more weight.
Yes — in fact, that’s how most of our customers at Ezecurtains choose to do it. Ceiling-fit in the bay for a discreet look, then wall-fix the returns so your curtains park neatly down the walls.
It does. The modern wave track uses the same strong, tidy, and easy-to-fit bracket system as our slimline wave track — making fitting straightforward and the finish nice and clean.
