Why I Usually Recommend a Curtain Track for Bay Windows
Although curtain poles can be attractive, I generally recommend a made-to-measure curtain track when curtains need to open and close around a bay window.
The main reason is how the curtains move. With many bay curtain poles, the rings have to negotiate bends and support brackets. This can make opening and closing the curtains more awkward than it needs to be.
Our aluminium bay window tracks are shaped to suit the individual window, with gliders designed to travel smoothly around the bends. The supporting brackets are positioned to help the track remain stable when the curtains are operated.
